I am so chuffed to have been chosen to exhibit at the quay arts open exhibition..... My 2 paintings are entitled CRACKED 1 and 2. The vases are painted to reflect antiquity and the Grecian era with broken industrial glass on top, under the framed glass. I prefer to entitle them CULTURAL CLEANSING to emphasize the destruction of 3,000 year old antiquities in SYRIA and IRAQ. They have both sold.
Over 34 artists and 50+ works are represented.The winner, JOANNA KORI receives mentoring, a studio and an exhibition. Her work using gumstrip and linseed oil are sculptures that address the history of the quay arts building and its industry.
