How can poetry give you a natural high? - I am still coming down from the excitement of watching new poet performers read their poems in front of a capacity crowd at Bendula restaurant, Union street, Ryde as part of the Acoustic Isle programme. Soundbites was established in late 2014 to support writers to develop their poetry and performance skills by offering weekly practice nights. It's strength was in its diversity of life experiences and ages- from 15 to 74 years old!
Special mention to Bella, David, Jenni, Angela, and Alan - you rocked it........ Thanks to Caroline, Tim, Adam, Chris, Bob, young people from both Flip the Script and RedTie Theatre.
